We service a wide range of students from our surrounding areas and continue to stress best-practices and technology-based educational methods.
The Community
The Rolling Hills Local School District resides in rural south-eastern Ohio, with a range of families that are agricultural, industrial and professional based. We service approximately 1,700 students from the surrounding areas, and continue to stress best-practices and technology-based educational methods. Our mission is to be an inviting educational center providing excellent opportunities for all students based upon high expectations in academics, technology and social development through a strong partnership with the community. We work hard to provide teachers and students with opportunity, and since 2010 have generated over $7 million in grants and donations.
21st Century Technology
Rolling Hills stands at the forefront of educational technology integration, catapulting students into the 21st century with the skills necessary for success. We as a district understand the importance of incorporating 21st-century skills into all learning opportunities, giving students chances to discover their strengths and develop skills needed to compete in a global economy.
Rolling Hills provides every student, grades K-12, with an iPad to enhance their educational experience, providing our students with opportunities to creatively collaborate using modern technology.
