RHLSD COVID-19 Updates
Here you will find any update that pertains to the current COVID-19 Pandemic.
A student at Brook and a student at the Middle School have tested positive for COVID-19. All contract tracing has been completed. If your child was involved, a call has already been made. If you did not receive a call, your child does not need to follow the quarantine protocol.
Welcome back everyone!
I wanted to share the updated school quarantine guidelines from the Ohio Department of Health. Wearing masks appropriately at school will be used to determine if students will have to quarantine, so please make sure to share with your children how to wear a mask correctly. When masks are worn properly students will no longer be quarantined in the classroom setting from a positive Covid-19 case.
Just a reminder as when to keep your child home:
1) If your child or anyone in the immediate household is being tested for COVID-19 due to symptoms and awaiting results, please keep your child and any siblings who attend school home at least until test results are received.
2) If your child was in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, please keep them home and notify the school.
3) If your child has any of the following symptoms they should stay home until 24 hours symptom free: Fever/Chills, Cough, Congestion, Fatigue, Muscle/Body Aches, Diarrhea, Headache, Sore Throat, Shortness of Breath/Difficulty Breathing, Nausea/Vomiting, Recent Loss of Taste/Smell.
If you have any questions please contact me, you can call or email me. Please reach me by phone at 740-685-2566 ext 3012 and/or email@example.com. The link provided will help explain in further detail the guidelines for Covid-19 in a K-12 school setting. https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/static/responsible/schools/K-12-Schools-Guidance.pdf
